01 Location & protection

Use the state where the vehicle is primarily kept. A city or ZIP keeps your next comparison request relevant.

The benchmark is statewide and historical. It does not price your ZIP, vehicle, driving record, chosen limits, or deductible.

03 Current cost & deductible reserveTurn your own numbers into a monthly plan.

Enter the total premium from your current policy to see its annual and monthly equivalents. If it covers multiple vehicles or drivers, the calculation keeps that same policy scope.

For combined or specialist coverage, the reserve is a savings goal based on the larger selected deductible. It is separate from your insurance premium.

No contact details required. Calculating does not submit a lead.

The planning tool separates statewide history from your own policy costs so each number has a clear meaning.

Historical state benchmark

The snapshot uses 2023 observations from the report released February 2026. NAIC averages describe broad personal-auto coverage costs in the reported year. They do not distinguish your vehicle, age, driving record, chosen limits, city, or ZIP.

Your policy arithmetic

Your entered premium is converted to an annual amount, then divided by 12. A selected deductible divided by your savings timeline gives a separate monthly reserve goal.
